These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Afterwrap LLC, doing business as Wanderlust Videos ("Wanderlust Videos," "we," "us," or "our"), including our Wanderlust Pro and Wanderlust Lite services (collectively, the "Services"). Certain provisions applicable exclusively to Wanderlust LITE are set out in the Appendix to these Terms. By placing an order, accessing, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use our Services.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business practices, legal requirements, or other factors. When changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Your continued use of our Services after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:
Wanderlust Videos provides professional video editing and related post-production services, including through our Wanderlust Pro program. These Terms apply to all services we offer. Specific differences for the Wanderlust LITE program are outlined in the Appendix, which modifies these Terms where stated. The specific services, features, and turnaround times for each project will be as described on our Website or as otherwise agreed to in writing.
We will perform the Services with reasonable skill and care, consistent with industry standards. Unless otherwise agreed, Services do not include on-site filming, raw footage creation, or other work outside the scope of editing and post-production.
You are responsible for providing all required materials - such as raw footage, project instructions, and branding assets - in the formats and by the deadlines specified by us. If the project brief is unclear, missing information, missing footage, or is updated after editing has begun, Wanderlust Videos will not be responsible for delays, missed deadlines, or dissatisfaction with the final product. In such cases, refunds or complaints will not be accepted.
Any work outside the agreed scope, including additional revisions, new edits, or changes requested after delivery of the final Deliverables, may be subject to additional fees and extended turnaround times, as outlined in Section 9.
Orders must be submitted through our Website, official order form, or another method approved by Wanderlust Videos. An Order is considered accepted only when confirmed in writing (including by email) or when we begin work on the Project.
Prices for Services are listed on our Website or provided in a written quote. All prices are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated and are subject to change without notice. The price in effect at the time you place your Order will apply.
Payment is due in full at the time of ordering unless a different schedule has been agreed to in writing. For installment plans, work will be scheduled in proportion to the portion of Services paid for, as outlined in your invoice or agreement.
Any changes requested after the original purchase, for example, changing the video type, adding creative effects, or requesting other extras, will generally be charged at the full applicable rate. Loyalty discounts, package discounts, or other promotional rates may not apply to such post-purchase add-ons, unless otherwise agreed at the sole discretion of Wanderlust Videos.
Please also see Section 9: Additional Services and Special Charges for further details on how certain extras are billed.
If payment is not received by the agreed due date, we may suspend work until payment is made. Any late fees will be determined on a per-client or per-quote basis and specified in your agreement or invoice.
You may request to cancel a Project at any time; however, any refund will depend on the stage of the Project at the time of cancellation:
Refunds may be issued in U.S. dollars or Wandercoins (credits redeemable for post-production services at 1 wandercoin = 1 USD).
Wandercoins are non-transferable, non-refundable, and have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for cash or any other form of credit. Wandercoins will expire 365 days after the date they are credited to your account but will remain available until redeemed.
Refunds will not be provided for dissatisfaction that could have been addressed during the revision process, or for outcomes impacted by conditions described in Section 3, including incomplete or unclear project briefs, late or incomplete delivery of materials, or missing footage. Clients are expected to provide all required materials and timely feedback to allow adjustments before final delivery.
No refunds will be issued once final Deliverables have been released to the Client.
If the Client initiates a chargeback, payment dispute, or payment reversal with their payment provider or financial institution, Wanderlust Videos reserves the right to immediately suspend all Services, pause any work in progress, withhold delivery of any completed or partially completed Deliverables, revoke access to project files or online portals where applicable, and cancel any active or future projects until the payment dispute has been fully resolved.
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute does not relieve the Client of their obligation to pay for Services properly rendered under these Terms. If the chargeback or payment dispute is resolved in favor of Wanderlust Videos, the Client agrees to reimburse Wanderlust Videos for the disputed amount, together with any chargeback fees, bank fees, collection costs, reasonable attorneys' fees, or other expenses incurred in recovering the outstanding balance, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Raw media can only be delivered via the following approved methods:
Our workflow is optimized for these platforms; media transfers via other cloud services will not be accepted.
If the Client chooses to ship a hard drive or other physical storage device to Wanderlust Videos, the Client is responsible for ensuring that all footage and files provided are complete and correct. Wanderlust Videos is responsible only for accessing, copying, and returning the storage device with reasonable care.
If the total footage size exceeds 1 TB, additional charges will apply as outlined in Section 9. If the file size downloaded by Wanderlust Videos is larger than initially stated in the project brief, the editing process may be paused until payment for the applicable difference is received.
While Wanderlust Videos takes reasonable precautions when handling storage devices, the Client acknowledges that files or data may become lost, corrupted, altered, damaged, or inaccessible before, during, or after shipping or the upload process due to hardware failure, file system issues, shipping, pre-existing drive conditions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Accordingly, Wanderlust Videos is not responsible for any loss, corruption, alteration, damage, or inaccessibility of files or data stored on the drive.
The Client is solely responsible for maintaining complete backups of all footage and project files before shipping any storage device to Wanderlust Videos. By sending a hard drive, the Client represents that they have retained a separate backup of all content.
Wanderlust Videos is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by shipping carriers, nor for any missing or incomplete footage or files provided by the Client.
The cloud storage feature within the Client Portal used to securely upload footage, project files, and other assets to Wanderlust Videos.
Each Project is assigned to the editor who best matches the requirements and can provide the most optimal turnaround time. Once assigned, the Client will be notified of the estimated first delivery date.
Turnaround times are based on receiving all required materials (including footage, instructions, and assets) in the correct format by the agreed deadline. If complete materials are not received on time, turnaround time will be recalculated based on our availability once all materials are fully uploaded.
Advance Reservations for Future Event Dates
If a Client purchases or books a Project for a future event with a specified wedding or event date, no editor will be pre-assigned or reserved in advance by default. An editor will only be pre-assigned and a delivery date reserved in advance if:
If footage is not received within ten (10) calendar days of the specified event date, any previously discussed or tentatively reserved delivery date will be released, and the Project will be scheduled based on editor availability at the time all required materials are fully received.
Wanderlust Videos does not guarantee editor availability or specific delivery timelines for future event Projects unless the above conditions are satisfied.
All videos undergo review by our Quality Assurance specialist before being sent to the Client, based on the project brief and agreed delivery date.
The established delivery date refers to the first delivery (first cut). Final delivery dates depend on whether the Client requests revisions. Wanderlust Videos is not responsible for missed deadlines between the Client and their own clients.
Once a Project has started and an editor has been assigned, any requests from Wanderlust Videos for information, clarification, or feedback - including during the revision process - must be addressed within seventy-two (72) hours.
If no response is received within this timeframe, the Project may be placed on hold. Projects on hold will be rescheduled based on editor availability once the required feedback or materials are received, which may extend the original delivery date. Alternatively, we may move forward based on the information available, using our best professional judgment to preserve quality and meet deadlines.
Wanderlust Videos is not responsible for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control. These circumstances include, but are not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, war, terrorism, civil unrest, pandemics, government actions, labor disputes, power outages, internet or telecommunications outages, cyberattacks, failures or outages of third-party software, cloud storage providers, or other technology services, shipping delays, technical issues, file transfer problems, or delays caused by the Client's failure to provide required materials, information, feedback, approvals, or payments.
In such circumstances, any applicable turnaround times or delivery dates will be reasonably extended for the duration of the delay, and Wanderlust Videos will use commercially reasonable efforts to resume performance as soon as practicable.
Rush delivery is available for select projects only and is subject to Wanderlust Videos' availability and written confirmation. Clients may request rush turnaround times ranging from 48 hours to one (1) week for delivery of the first cut, subject to our confirmed availability. A rush fee of 30% to 50% of the applicable base project price will apply, depending on the requested turnaround time.
To be eligible for rush delivery, the following conditions generally apply:
Wanderlust Videos will make commercially reasonable efforts to use the Client's preferred editing software and assign the Client's requested editor, if any. However, neither the preferred software nor any specific editor can be guaranteed for rush projects.
Wanderlust Videos reserves the right to decline any rush request or modify the quoted turnaround time if the project scope, footage volume, event duration, or production requirements exceed what can reasonably be accommodated within the requested timeline.
Final Deliverables are prepared after all videos in the Project have been approved, as outlined in Section 8.
Each Project includes two (2) rounds of revisions. Clients may purchase up to two (2) additional rounds for $40 USD each.
A client's very first Project includes up to four (4) rounds of revisions at no additional cost.
Revisions will begin only after the Client has confirmed through our platform that feedback has been provided on Frame.io. Internal revisions between our Quality Assurance specialists and the editor may occur before updated Deliverables are sent to the Client.
Feedback for each round of revisions must be provided within the following timeframes:
If applicable, feedback from the couple must also be provided within these same timeframes.
If feedback is not received within these timeframes, Wanderlust Videos may close the Project and mark it as approved.
For response time requirements during the revision process, see Section 6.4.
A Major Change is a request that significantly alters the direction of the video after the initial project brief has been submitted and editing has begun. Major Changes are not included within standard revision rounds and will be charged separately. Examples include (but are not limited to):
Music Selection Clarification:
Wanderlust Videos reserves the sole right to determine whether a requested revision constitutes a Major Change based on its scope, impact on the edit, and production time required.
Major Change fees are calculated based on the video's duration and complexity:
| Duration | Moderate | Complex | Redo |
|---|---|---|---|
| Short (up to 8 mins) | $70 | $100 | $160 |
| Long (up to 25 mins) | $90 | $120 | $200 |
| Extensive (documentaries) | $110 | $140 | $220 |
Some requests may also fall under Additional Services and Special Charges (see Section 9).
Updated videos will typically be delivered within seven (7) days for Projects with up to two videos and simple corrections. Projects with more than two videos or that require major revisions (such as soundtrack changes, restructuring of storytelling, or changing references) may require longer than seven (7) days to ensure quality.
If, after a round of revisions, the Client decides to modify the type of video, its duration, include creative effects, or make any other changes that alter the video's structure, Wanderlust Videos will deliver only the final export file of the revised video. Intermediate versions will not be provided.
Final Deliverables will be prepared and released only after all videos within the Project have been approved. Final Deliverables will be provided in the agreed file format(s) via our designated delivery method. Once files are delivered, it is your responsibility to download, back up, and securely store them, as we cannot guarantee indefinite storage of completed projects.
Before delivery, all files will undergo a final internal review by our Quality Assurance specialist to ensure they are clean, organized, and ready for handover. This review process may take up to five (5) business days.
Deliverables may include, as applicable:
Intermediate or draft versions are not included as Deliverables unless expressly agreed in writing.
Certain requests or project types may incur additional fees, as outlined below. All such charges will be confirmed in writing before work begins.
Additional fees apply when complex creative effects or transitions are requested. Complexity may result from:
Simple effects (e.g., light leaks, overlays, cross dissolves, speed ramps) requested in only a few places will not incur additional charges.
Requests for creative effects that significantly alter the overall structure or storytelling of the video may be considered a Major Change under Section 7 and charged accordingly.
A Project is considered multi-day if it includes footage from events spanning more than one calendar day. One day of event coverage is defined as up to twelve (12) hours.
If additional event days are included, extra charges may apply:
These charges apply only if the footage captured on the extra day(s) exceeds thirty (30) minutes of continuous raw material.
Clients may request additional exports of a finished video in different resolutions or formats (e.g., 4K, 1080p, vertical format), except for videos in the Documentary Collection.
An "extra export" refers only to delivering the same approved final video in an alternate resolution or format. Any request involving changes to the video's content - such as soundtrack, storytelling, length, or structure - will be considered a new video and quoted accordingly. If such changes occur after editing has begun, they may also qualify as a Major Change under Section 7.3.
Additional charges apply if the raw footage file size exceeds one (1) terabyte (TB):
If the file size of the footage downloaded by Wanderlust Videos exceeds the size stated by the Client in the project brief, the editing process will be placed on hold until the invoice for the additional amount is paid in full.
The Client may request to reopen a previously approved and closed Project to request new revisions; however, no new videos may be added. Any new videos must be purchased as a new Project.
Within seven (7) days of project closure:
After seven (7) days of project closure:
Reopened Projects are not expedited. Delivery will depend on the turnaround time in effect at the time the reopening request is approved.
Wanderlust Videos will make reasonable efforts to assign the original editor to a reopened Project. If the original editor is unavailable, the Project will be assigned to the next available qualified editor.
Discounts or promotions applied to the original Project (including Loyalty Club discounts) will not apply to the reopening fees.
Reopened Projects include only one (1) round of corrections. Additional revision rounds must be purchased separately at the rates outlined in Section 7.1. No Major Change fees will be charged in the first included round of revisions for reopened Projects.
To ensure high-quality work is delivered on time, the Client agrees to:
Failure to meet these responsibilities may delay delivery timelines and could result in additional charges as outlined in Sections 7 and 9.
Upon full payment, the Client receives all rights, title, and interest in the final Deliverables, including any associated project files. Ownership of the Deliverables does not transfer to the Client until all amounts due have been paid in full.
Third-party materials (such as licensed music or stock footage) remain subject to their respective license terms.
No attribution or recognition of Wanderlust Videos is required unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Wanderlust Videos may share completed videos or excerpts for marketing and promotional purposes only with the Client's prior written consent.
Wanderlust Videos will store all raw media provided by the Client for seven (7) days after the Project is approved and closed. After this period, all raw media will be permanently deleted from our servers.
Once the final Deliverables and any agreed project files are provided, it is the Client's responsibility to create full backups of all media.
Wanderlust Videos is not required to retain project files or make any modifications to them more than one (1) month after delivery. After the stated retention period, Wanderlust Videos will have no further obligation to store, maintain, or provide access to any media or files.
The Client is solely responsible for obtaining all necessary model or talent releases, location permits, and other permissions required to feature individuals or property in the Project.
Wanderlust Videos accepts no liability for the absence of such permissions.
Wanderlust Videos provides licensed soundtracks from Musicbed as part of our Services.
If the Client requests the use of music that is not provided by Wanderlust Videos, the Client represents and warrants that they have obtained, or will obtain, all necessary rights, licenses, permissions, and approvals required for such use. Wanderlust Videos does not obtain or provide licenses for client-requested music.
The Client assumes full responsibility for the use of any client-requested music and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Wanderlust Videos from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses arising from the use of such music, including any claims relating to copyright infringement or other intellectual property rights.
Wanderlust Videos reserves the right to decline any request to use music that it reasonably believes may infringe the rights of a third party or otherwise violate applicable law.
To protect our team and business relationships, the Client agrees not to directly solicit, hire, engage, contract with, or otherwise retain any employee, contractor, editor, or other team member introduced through Wanderlust Videos outside of the Company's services during the course of the business relationship and for a period of twelve (12) months following the completion of the Client's last project with Wanderlust Videos.
All project-related communication, including project assignments, revisions, scheduling, payments, and future work requests, must be conducted through Wanderlust Videos unless expressly authorized in writing by the Company.
Nothing in this section prevents the Client from communicating directly with Wanderlust Videos employees or contractors when such communication has been authorized by Wanderlust Videos as part of the normal delivery of the Services.
The Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Wanderlust Videos, its affiliates, owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and representatives from and against any claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, judgments, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) any materials, footage, music, images, logos, trademarks, or other content provided by the Client; (b) the Client's breach of these Terms; (c) the Client's violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party, including intellectual property rights; or (d) the Client's use of the Services or the final deliverables, except to the extent such claims arise solely from the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Wanderlust Videos.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wanderlust Videos' total liability arising out of or relating to the Services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the specific Project giving rise to the claim.
In no event shall Wanderlust Videos be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost business opportunities, loss of goodwill, or loss of data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
These Terms and any disputes arising from or relating to the Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. The parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Texas, for the resolution of any disputes.
By placing an Order, making payment, or otherwise using the Services, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms, together with any written agreement, quote, or invoice provided by Wanderlust Videos, constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding the subject matter herein. They supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings, whether written or oral.
No amendment or modification of these Terms will be binding unless in writing and signed by both parties.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
This Appendix sets out the specific terms and conditions that apply exclusively to the Wanderlust LITE service. Unless otherwise stated here, all provisions of the main Terms of Service apply equally to Wanderlust LITE. In the event of any conflict between this Appendix and the main Terms of Service, the terms in this Appendix will govern for LITE projects only.
Wanderlust LITE is a separate, streamlined editing service provided by Wanderlust Videos. This service includes:
For each project purchased, the Client must choose one of the four style templates offered by Wanderlust LITE.
By selecting a style, the Client acknowledges and accepts the creative decisions made by Wanderlust LITE regarding the soundtrack, LUTs, shot selection, sequencing, storytelling, pacing, and other creative elements. The soundtrack is selected exclusively by Wanderlust Videos based on the chosen style template. Clients may not provide music, request specific songs, artists, genres, or playlists, or request changes to the selected soundtrack. Once a style is selected, all creative decisions will adhere to the guidelines of that style template.
If the Client requests a change of template style after editing has begun, this will be treated as a full redo and charged at the total cost of the current project.
VFX requests are not accepted and are not included in this service.
Each Project includes one (1) round of revision. Clients may purchase up to two (2) additional rounds for $40 USD each.
A client's very first Project includes up to two (2) rounds of revisions at no additional cost.
Feedback for each round of revisions must be provided within the following timeframes:
For Lite Projects, any request that qualifies as a Major Change (as defined in Section 7.3 of the main Terms of Service) will be charged separately and is not included in any revision round.
Fees for Major Changes are determined by Wanderlust Videos, in its sole discretion, based on the video's duration, scope, and complexity, up to $120 USD per Project. Approval of applicable fees is required before work proceeds.
Lite projects follow the Deliverables provisions set out in Section 8 of the main Terms, with the following differences: Project files and associated assets are not included as standard Deliverables unless specifically purchased as an extra at the time of order.
Additional charges apply if the footage file size exceeds 250 GB:
If the footage exceeds the file size stated in the project brief, editing will be put on hold until the extra fee is paid in full.
All Lite projects include a maximum of two cameras. Any additional cameras requested will incur an extra fee of $150.
